According to the daily survey of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic (BCRD), the transfer buying rate at financial institutions was RD$59.0878 per dollar on Friday, October 30, 2026, the latest available figure.

At that rate, US$200 converted to RD$11,817.56: RD$36.78 less than on October 23, 2026 (−0.31 %), RD$241.30 more than on September 30, 2026 (+2.08 %) and RD$765.40 less than on October 30, 2025, when it brought RD$12,582.96 (−6.08 %). The rate hit this year's low of RD$56.963 on August 24, 2026 and has risen since. Sending euros from Spain or Italy

€200 converted to RD$13,273.38 on October 30, 2026 (buying rate of RD$66.3669 per euro): RD$77.64 less than a week earlier, RD$19.10 less than on September 30 and RD$1,260.86 less than a year earlier, when it brought RD$14,534.24 (−8.68 %).

What that money buys

Twelve-month inflation was 5.12 % in September 2026, according to the BCRD consumer price index. Adjusted for that, today's RD$11,817.56 buys what about RD$11,241.97 bought a year ago, 10.66 % less than the RD$12,582.96 the same US$200 brought then.
